About the firm
Established in August 2012 by CA Premlata Purohit, FCA, CS, the firm has grown from a single office practice in Bhayandar East into a multidisciplinary practice. Today the team brings together Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, advocates and actuarial professionals across audit, taxation, regulatory and advisory mandates.

How the firm came to be
The firm was set up in August 2012, the year that CA Premlata Purohit became a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The original mandate was straightforward: serve businesses in Mira Bhayandar with the technical depth a sole proprietorship can deliver when work is led by the proprietor and documented to ICAI standards. Engagements at the time were almost entirely statutory and tax in nature, and the office was a single room.
What changed over the next decade was the firm’s understanding of what its clients actually needed. A statutory audit done well surfaced governance questions that needed a Company Secretary. A tax matter at appeal benefited from someone who could draft pleadings. A foreign remittance question sat at the intersection of FEMA, income tax and banking regulation. So the firm grew its team to match.
Today CA Premlata Purohit is supported by Narendra Purohit as Lead Consultant and a wider team of qualified Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, advocates and actuarial professionals. The practice covers audit and assurance, direct and indirect taxation, corporate law and secretarial work, FEMA, FCRA and international taxation, business advisory and outsourcing, valuation, restructuring and specialised mandates. Engagements continue to be proprietor led; documentation continues to be reviewed before sign off; and the office continues to receive the kind of long term clients who refer their friends, their families and their suppliers.
Good compliance is the foundation of every great Indian enterprise.
What we stand for
Every engagement is run with the technical rigour required for the largest mandate in the office, regardless of the client's size. Working papers are documented, reviewed and retained in accordance with the Standards on Auditing and the firm's quality control framework under SQC 1.
Client matters are held in the strictest confidence. Internal access to client files is limited to engagement teams. Communications are encrypted in transit. Files are retained per regulatory requirements and securely disposed of thereafter.
The proprietor or a senior team member is reachable within one business day for every active engagement. Routine compliance questions receive a same day acknowledgment; complex queries receive a written reply with a stated timeline.
Engagements are owned by the same team year on year. The firm invests in continuity because most professional value compounds over time, in shared knowledge of the client's business, its history, and its commercial intent.
Memberships and registrations
The firm is registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India under FRN 135584W. CA Premlata Purohit is a Fellow Member of the Institute (FCA) and an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (CS).
The team
The firm brings together qualified professionals across disciplines. Engagements are staffed to match the matter: a tax audit may be led by a Chartered Accountant with secretarial review; a cross border transaction may be led by a Company Secretary with FEMA inputs from an advocate.
The first conversation is always without commitment. The firm prefers a brief discovery call to understand the matter, the timeline and the regulatory context before any engagement letter is drawn up.
