Articleship Trainee

About the role

The articleship is a foundational training position. Trainees rotate across audit, tax, GST and corporate law over the course of the term, with internal training, formal reviews and exam study leave per ICAI norms.

Responsibilities

• Support audit fieldwork including vouching, ledger scrutiny and substantive procedures.
• Prepare and review tax computations, returns and TDS workings under supervision.
• Assist with GST return preparation and reconciliations.
• Assist with corporate law filings and statutory registers.
• Maintain working papers and documentation in line with firm standards.

Requirements

• Cleared CA Intermediate or equivalent (IPCC group I or II).
• Available to commence within four weeks of selection.
• Strong fundamentals in accounting and audit.
• Disciplined approach to work and willingness to learn.
